The Magical 11′ 2″
Dougal is a good friend and a regular client of mine. He rides some very alternative shapes. This board is an 11 ‘ 2″ that we worked on the dimensions together . It’s over 4 inches thick and is made to get in early on the big waves that roll through at Sunset Reef.

Shaping shots.
Shaping is another world. When I shape I try to be in the moment and find the perfect balance between the thickness, the rocker and the outline.
Nice board. Very flat nose/tail rocker?
the rocker was definitely flatter than normal.
